Abstract
Purpose: COVID-19 pandemic has forced business organizations, nations and governments including individuals to analyze the occurrence of epidemic and its social, economic and financial implications. This obvious analysis of the pandemic and its financial impact had made changes in pattern and preferences of individual’s investment. This study basically focuses on investor’s attitude, perceived behavior, risk pattern, investment intention, and actual perceived investment behavior during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Findings: The research results show that in the post-COVID-19 period, investors can still seize many opportunities for them to return to normal. In particular, the factor of changing an investor's behavior is most necessary for making investment decisions.
Practical Implications: From the perspectives on opportunities and challenges, the research has also given a number of solutions that can help the industry as well as individual investors by unfolding the new pathway and outlook towards the investment opportunities with a view of coming up with new product and marketing strategies for the financial products.
Social Implications: This study will encourage the investors and the investment houses to transform the investment habits from traditional products to the products which are more oriented towards the health and wealth of investors.
