Abstract
The outbreak of Corona Virus in 2019 has affected the world to a great extent. For two consecutive years the world has faced immense difficulties in every sector. Even now some of the countries are facing harsh COVID-19 waves. Management and technical institution are no more far from the adverse effect of this virus. The pandemic has affected the work culture and have emphasized on the adoption of new normal which is very distinctive in nature. The pandemic as affected employees’ motivational level as well as management employee engagement practices. This study aims at understanding the employee engagement effect on employee performance during the COVID-19 in the private management institution and technical institutions. The objectives of the study were to understand the difficulties faced in employee engagement by the private management institution and technical institution. The second objective of the study is to analyse the effect of employee engagement on employees’ performance. The researcher performed detailed is literature review on the topic such as employing engagement employee performance effect of COVID on employees’ performance and employee engagement in the institutions amongst others. The researcher performed the study with Saunders’s research onion model. The study was performed with positivism research philosophy and deductive approach. The researcher adopted quantitative method of data collection. The researcher performed survey with 33 respondents. The result of the survey has been discussed in the study.
