Peer Review Process

The PBMEIT International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research follows a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, integrity, and scholarly value of all published content. The identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the review process.

Review Model

Type: Double-blind peer review

Reviewers per manuscript: A minimum of two independent reviewers

Additional review: A third reviewer may be assigned in cases of conflicting recommendations or where additional subject expertise is required.

Reviewer Selection Criteria

Reviewers are selected based on:

Subject-matter expertise relevant to the manuscript

Research and publication record in peer-reviewed journals

Absence of conflicts of interest with the authors or the work

Prior reviewing experience and adherence to ethical reviewing standards

Reviewers are expected to maintain confidentiality and provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations.

Review Timeline

Initial editorial screening: 7–10 days

Peer review duration: 3–4 weeks

First decision to authors: Typically within 4–6 weeks of submission

Timelines may vary depending on the complexity of the manuscript and reviewer availability. The journal does not guarantee expedited or fast-track review.

Decision Stages

Based on reviewer reports, manuscripts may receive one of the following decisions:

Accept without revision

Minor revision

Major revision

Reject

Revised manuscripts may be returned to the original reviewers for further evaluation. The Editor-in-Chief or designated Associate Editor makes the final publication decision based on reviewer recommendations and editorial judgment.

Ethical Oversight

All manuscripts are assessed for compliance with the journal’s publication ethics policies. Cases involving ethical concerns, including plagiarism or data integrity issues, are handled in accordance with established ethical guidelines.
